Titanium

Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo

Ti6-2-4-6 is a heat treated alpha-beta titanium alloy for which you can get higher properties than TA6V. Its strengths are a better resistance, a low cycle fatigue and a good ductility. It can resist to tempratures up to 450°C. This metal is mainly used for turbines, discs or blades.

Key benefits

  • Low elasticity modulus

  • Low density/weight ratio

  • Fatigue resistance
